The Acropolis at the top of Storm Island, the bars and cafes of Castelletto, the golf course just outside of Saint Martin - everything in this game was just an incredible visualisation of one of the oldest and most beautiful parts of the world. As the world becomes more accessible thanks to the different cars and the much bigger and more open map compared to practically any other game at the time it was released four years ago… Time flies, right?Īnd the world of Forza Horizon 2 was somewhere you just wanted to stay, visit to escape the real world, take a virtual holiday. It’s the game that wonderfully captures something obtainable, that tour of some of the most beautiful places in Europe, while also giving you something less obtainable to do it in like a Ferrari F40. Maybe that’s why I hold this game in such high esteem.
That’s when the harbour at Castelletto comes in to view and you embark down the ocean road to the festival - it’s the stuff of dreams.
FORZA HORIZON 2 XBOX 360 FULL
A whimsical, poetic, if not entirely full of sense, monologue (friends do not rattle and if they do they should see a doctor) that shows some of the joys of trekking across Europe in fast cars and music festivals.
As the game loads and the camera pans down to show the light reflecting off the Lamborghini Huracan, and the beads of water that sit on the Ferrari Laferrari at night, you knew that you were in line for something utterly stunning.
